Pulwama, July 25, 2024: Acting on the directions of the esteemed Labour Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir, the Assistant Labour Commissioner of Pulwama issued a formal communication to the Assistant Director of Food, Pulwama. The communication emphasized the necessity of convening a meeting with the Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) of District Pulwama to address the provision of ration cards to the left-out eShram registrants.
In response, a meeting was held today, chaired by the Assistant Director of Food in his office chamber. The session saw the participation of all TSOs from District Pulwama, along with officials from both the Food and Labour Departments.
During the meeting, a focused discussion was conducted on identifying and tracing the leftout eShram registrants. Various strategies and methodologies were explored to effectively trace these registrants. The Assistant Director of Food instructed all TSOs to collaborate closely with the Labour Department of Pulwama, utilizing all available resources and techniques to locate and authenticate the untraceable eShram registrants.
The TSOs were further directed to ensure that ration cards are issued to all eligible eShram registrants by individually verifying their credentials. This coordinated effort aims to ensure that no deserving individual is left without essential food security benefits.
The Labour and Food Departments of Pulwama are committed to working together to address this critical issue and ensure that all eligible eShram registrants receive the necessary support and resources.
